It was no robbery but a debatable decision. I had Hopkins winning 8-4 but the KDs made it close on the cards (the 1st one being a BS KD).

One judge was from Belgium, and scored it a draw. Even the American judge only scored the fight for Hopkins by two points (which means he would have scored it even had he given one extra round to Pascal).

The ref was Canadian, but while the first kd scored against X may have been questionable, there was one kd that scored by Pascal later in the fight that was ruled a slip, so it all evens out.

So, whine and ***** all you ****ing want about the decision, but in the scheme of things, this was hardly the Canadian conspiracy that X makes it out to be.

I thought Pascal won 6 rounds, so Hopkins should consider himself lucky to have gotten a draw after getting decked twice like that.

Tell him ESB Classic twice voted him the #12 heavyweight of all time, in two entirely separate polls (yours and reznick's). :yep

I see Holyfield has a fight coming up on the 22nd against Sherman Williams, and has also has a fight date with a comebacking Brian Nielsen for March 5th.

It's a busy schedule, and I know he's had a lot of fights fall through in the last 2 years. I think if he's going to carry on fighting he needs to be busy like that, against this kind of opposition, whether he wants to make a little bit of money or sharpen himself into some sort of half-decent form, he needs to be busy.

I fear for Nielsen's safety though, if that fight happens. I have a feeling it won't, but I don't know, if Nielsen needs money it will be a big payday in his home country.

Holyfield would be a huge underdog in a fight with either of the Klitschkos, or David Haye, but I think he's still probably better than Briggs and Peter, and of course Audley Harrison (the last three challengers at HW).

I never thought of it that way, but you might be right about that.

He'll get mad. I met him once at Alexander-Kotelnik and he was a grumpy mother****er.

I also remember him saying that he would beat every champ before him and such so i dunno how that'll go over

It's sad to see the ancient Holy still fighting. :verysad

Could you ask him if he properly considered retirement after his monumental upset of Tyson in '96? (When I think he should have retired to maximize his Greatness.)
