I'm not saying i think johnson is too old, just that's what people will say afterwards.

I know Glen Ko'd green, but come on, Green is rubbish, Tavoris Cloud is nothing special at all, neither is yusef mack and Dawson isn't either, three examples of overhyped yanks right there

I do have a lot of respect for johnson, but imo he is kind of king of the journeymen, he always finds a way to lose the big fights, and i expect he'll do the same here

'King of the journeymen' is a gross overstatement. Glen Johnson has beaten world class fighters, and been robbed against several others. Journeymen never beat world class fighters unless they previously were world class but are shot.

    WTF?!?!
Dont you know he hasnt lost since he was 14, due to headbutts in headgear and fighting in Oakland? Plz dont skip this fact.

Also, dont forget that he was the only US boxer to win the 2004 Olympic gold in Lt. Heavyweight, to make room for Dirrell in Super Mid. He also won the gold due to Headbutts in headgear and all his fights were in Oakland too.

Believe it or not, this ALL makes great sense...

Calling Johnson a 'journeyman' is down to boxrec-pundits.

I'd say he has an 'old timers record :deal

Froch will need to mix up his approach, and up the pace late. Johnson is wiley, durable, and Frochy isn't a big enough puncher to stave him off IMO. He can war it up at times but his punches are meant to be thrown at range, on the inside we see Carl at his uttermost sloppiest, and that is Johnsons domain.

It's gonna be a very entertaining fight IMO.

Far too much is made of headbutts imo, I mean they are going to happen from time to time, but I dont think Bradley or Ward consciously going out there to headbutt their opponents.

"I don’t know how to head-butt a guy and not get cut myself"

Lol , well for someobody who doesn't know how to head butt properly he is certainly very adept at it. But hey if a fighter can get away with using his head as a third first and get all his fights in his hometown then you can't argue with it - good luck to him. Personally, I feel that he has the talent to do without the billy goat tactics - there's a difference between tough inside fighting and underhand stuff. If the fight against Kessler had not been in Oakland he would've and should've received numerous warnings from the ref, and he didnt need to resort to that stuff. The thing that gets people's backs up is seeing a so-called 'Son of God' try to pull the wool over people's eyes lol

Johnson is on some George Foreman 2nd go type of movement..very dangerous!
Froch can and should win , just don't engage too much.

I see ward doing a job on Froch..Direll could have won that fight against Froch but he seems to be missing something.

I agree. It might end up 117-111 to Froch but only because Glen gets typically shafted in a close fight.
Johnson's chin still looks granite and McCracken will be hoping that the disciplined performance against AA was not a one off.
