Thanks for the show, my favourite parts were Rummy talking about Dawson-Hopkins II, $uper $eth Mitchell (despite him dodging confirming Chauncy as his next opponent), & Chauncy's part which followed Mitchell's.

Really?! If Welliver didn't stop the 46 year old Zombie Bert Cooper (who has a similar style to Mitchell), how the hell do you favour him to stop $uper $eth, who's young & hungry? I don't mean to be disrespectful to Chauncy, but that's a strange prediction from you Messer.

Chauncy fights up (or down) to the level of his opponent. He doesn't always have that killer instinct when he is in there against an overmatched opponent. It's 1 thing about him that I like but also dislike. He has a soft spot for guys and coasts home again st some of these guys instead of pushing for the kill. Cooper and Calloway are examples of him going up huge in rounds and then just coasting it home.

But when he is challenged, he responds every time too. Moyoyo Mensah was brawling hard and fighting dirty as can be. That brought out the best of Chauncy there and he busted his arse up so bad to the body that he made him flee the ring and quit. Against Galen Brown in the 1st fight, Chauncy was starting slow and coasting to win the rounds. Brown then gets aggressive and hits him in the nuts big time. Chauncy responds by beating the living hell out of him back and forth across the ring until he stopped him with brutal non stop combinations.

I got to see a bunch of the Povetkin footage from his camp for Chagaev. Chauncy and him had some brutal wars in sparring and Chauncy kept answering back every time he was challenged. They were putting shots on eachothers body in seesaw fashion and Welliver was driving him back and getting the best of the encounters.

The Solis fight also shows Chauncy's heart and hunger. He did not have the fitness at 283 pounds on 10 days notice. But he hung in the entire time and was the better fighter ver the first couple rounds. And when he got buzzed slightly in the 9th, he recovered quickly and then got stopped while throwing a punch. After that he was protesting the stoppage and encouraging the fight to go on. Now that is mental power folks. They had announced in open scoring how far he was down. The same open scoring demoralized Sam Peter the same night. He quit like a ***** on the stool. Chauncy will never, ever, quit in a match. Nor will he not answer the challenge.

So this is how it goes. Welliver answers Mitchell's early assaults and challenges and gets his point across that he will not be bullied and he is not going anywhere on this night. Seth slowly but surely gets tired and demoralized. And Chauncy slowly but surely starts to assert himself as the fitter fighter and the more skilled fighter. By the mid rounds every round is going Welliver's way. Mitchell's corner starts imploding on eachother and Mayhem breaks loose as they fall apart. The crowd starts switching to Welliver from Mitchell like on Rocky 4 in the USSR. In the 9th Mitchell gets knocked down for the 1st time but survives. In the 10th he is dropped again and then when he gets up for the last time and is chicken dancing around, Chauncy lands about 15 unanswered blows and the ref stops the fight.

And New.......NABO HW Champion! Chauncy Welliver!

in regards to what you guys were saying about all the speculation about whats next for mayweather and tune up fights and vacations no, no, no!!

remember where you heard it first.....

Next year Floyd Mayweather will be fighting Amir Khan at Wembley Stadium im the UK!!

it frustrating listening to you guys and you not being able to see it. The fights been building for a couple years and would have been next had it not been for a referee in Washington and a certain lamont peterson not reading the script but the Golden boy lawyers are on the verge of fixing that (unless peterson knocks him out he has zero chance of winning in the current corrupt climate)!!

this fight makes sense will have par per view on both sides of the pond includes freddie roach it sells and it could be competitive. Older floyd against improved faster bigger KK

also fmj loves the UK and has been desperate to come back and fight here after seeing all the love he got in canning town for the marquez build up. He's so desperate to come here and fight he even was very close to making a fight with matthew hatton last year!! Trust me....

it makes money and it makes sense!!
    this will happen
