He barely bashed Khan, in all honesty. He just said it as it is. Khan is a talented fighter, fast hands, fit, etc, but struggles to hold a punch. He even accepted the critique on Khan's part of his own defence.

I don't understand why this always has to end up in a Khan vs Froch scenario. He was asked a question about Amir and answered honestly. He mentioned picking fights, but up until now that's been the general consensus of boxing fans so it's hardly only his sentiment.

Other than saying Khan hasn't improved under Roach, he was pretty much right about everything else.

That's what I thought. If you're really into the whole 'bashing' thing then surely Khan was equally guilty of 'bashing' Froch by criticising his defense.

Khan says Froch needs to work on his defence. Froch says Khan is a good, fast, strong and fit fighter with a glass jaw. Hardly ripping eachother apart is it. Not worthy of getting your knickers in a twist Lazarus . . . they was simply asked questions and gave an honest and pretty accurate critique of the other fighter

  6. He never won the British title. He won the vacant Commonwealth. He has never been ranked by a governing body.

I am happy with Morales comeback so far, he is going the right way about it. Barrios is a good opponent and Alfaro to. But trust me Limmond is a gatekeeper at British level in the UK no more. You can't take to much from the win.

    Good read, thanks.

    RE: Khan-bashing -- bull****.

Froch said there was room for improvement in his OWN defense

''In my last five fights, I beat Jean Pascal who’s a great fighter. He beat the ‘Bad’ Chad Dawson, so he’s dominating light heavyweight at the minute. So I boxed Pascal, and then I boxed Jermain Taylor, and then I boxed Dirrell, then I boxed Kessler, and now I’ve got Abraham''.

    This is very true.

Great fghter, great man, great interview.

I don't know if he'll be remembered as an ATG, lack of coverage, outside of boxing fans he's not known. Imagine if Benn and Eubank were about...what tear-ups we would have seen.

Good inteview, glad to see him giving Calzaghe some credit but you can't hide the facts about the quality of some of his opponents.

As for this bashing Khan, I just dont see it, unless someone can convince me he has a iron chin.

    It's Limond not Limmond RobPalmer.

vacant Commonwealth (British Empire) lightweight title = British title

And Limond managed ranked #14 by the IBO (the 5th best belt ;) )before he met up with Amir Khan, who he ended up knocking down before losing....so saying Limond was never ranked is not accurate.

Willie Limond was in my eyes nothing more then a fringe contender who blew his chance to make it. But he still was not bum, and it was a good win for Morales.

I thought Froch was pretty respectful when he talked about Calzaghe & Khan....He's a great interview and I hope he wins, cause if he somehow loses again, I doubt he will ever sound so confident in interviews again.

If they (khan & froch) were competing at the same weight class, then the back & forth has some meaning to it, but they are not! They need to both pack it in and just think about their future Opponents and up coming bouts.

I didn't see any khan bashing , but a subtle response to khan's crtcism of Froch on last week's interview.

But on the real Carl isn't shy for words when he talks about the other dude he doesn't truly respect. lol..

One thing that Khan and Froch have in common is the great confidence in themselves..good luck to the both of them. I really hope the Cobra pulls it off..
