Im being totally honI really admire Carl Froch, Really good fighter who has a record of who's who's he really does!! I don't agree with his Pascal V Hopkins judgement as Im tipping Hopkins but that just makes me look crazy and him sane:lol: Either way he's a brilliant fighter and a top man!! Big Respect goes out to Carl Froch...

i would agree with you about that if hopkins was fighting a good technical fighter so hopkins could read his punches, but pascal is pretty wild, fast and active and i dont think hopkins has the power to discourage him.

also, carl froch is a top man, if every fighter approached boxing the way he does, the sport would be in much better shape than it is now

  5. No no no.....Theres a difference between the Commonwealth and BBBofC British title. The true British belt is far more prestigious.

IBO come on Boxing Girl you count that ****??

Fringe Contender yes at british level. Certainly not a bum and still a good win while Morales is on the comeback trail.

The IBO belt is the 5th most sought after and has got legitimacy due to the champions that hold (wlad, green, Pascal, raging bull)....know your belts better....and most of the British title belts are worthless....the belt Limond won was a British title...maybe it's only the level of the IBO in terms of british boxing. I also read that Limond was ranked as high as #24 in the WBC before his fight with Khan, which if he won would of got him into the top 15....fringe contender at the point when he won 10 straight. So again, he WAS ranked.

Anyways, Rob....you should wear your avatar...I find it quite weird you prefer to use one with a ***** instead of a PG version with your face

Ohhhh, so all of a sudden it's ok to be arrogant. Ok. Funny how when Khan was apparently arrogant, he was a ****.

He's right in not gushing about Khan as Khan's tactics - due to his glass jaw - make him one-dimensional at the real top level. Most top fighters can fight inside and outside and at the moment Khan is strictly outside. It's still pretty effective and he might not need another dimension but I think he'll hit a wall someday fighting that way - either physically or mentally - and he'll get sparked when that happens.

I dont. The best name on Frochs record is Kessler who beat him and lost to Calzaghe.
Calzaghe has better names on his resume (but has had many more fights), but I do think that Froch was more daring than most for his first few title defences and deserves massive credit for the fights he has taken and has had in fighting Taylor away and Kessler away. The other 2 names on Frochs record have got better over time and not when Froch beat them, not that thats a bad thing though

  11. IBO is meaningless. Being the 5th most prestigious belt does that really mean anything?? Wlad Klitscko, Pascal are good champions but they hold more prestigious belts and the lineal titles. Darchinyan won the vacant title agaisnt Barcelona??? Danny Green not even a top 15 Cruiserweight. Has he ever beat a top 25 Cruiserweight. Has he even had a fight at 200lbs?? World catchweight champion. Peter Manfredo is there middleweight champ, that says it all.

The BBBofC British title is the most prestigious national belt in World Boxing.

It wasn't a British title it was the Commonwealth (British Empire) title. British empire and Britain not the same thing.

Ranked number 24 by the WBC, does that mean anything? Even if your ranked 15 you would be years away from becoming a mandatory. You need to be top 15 to be classed as "ranked"

hes sensitive about his boy khan aint he!
and I was only using that as a example of how Khan constantly says how he teaches Manny alot and gets the better of him, (was a recent post on his twitter, i'm not gonna trawl through articles and videos to find examples). Why do you take it personally when people talk about Khan? no ones even dissed him! simply stated facts: FACT hes cherry picked oponents, FACT he has a bad chin. His career is going in the right direction now though and hes got a tough fight ahead of him, and I'll be 100% behind him.

    chill winston

No. Really, if you're so sprung up on him about that little thing, then I just find it silly.

I could understand some of the other things he's said in the past, but really, that was just an prime example of the silly things people are sprung up on when it comes to Khan.

No one disses him? What? He get's crap all the time, especially from NoHomeJerome, the moron.

He's a prime example of a Khan hater.

    FACT, EVERY fighter Cherrypicks.

    I'm cool, man. :smoke

I think he's right though, that Hopkins will just try and hold, act and fiddle his way through. If he can't do that (which is a strong possibility due to where the fight is), then he gets smashed to bits!!!
