Then he fights Green and Bika next, which doesn't help him alot. If he meets Froch in the final he should travel to a neutral venue in europe IMO

You can't blame Ward for fighting at home if he's able to, but out of his 3 super 6 fights he's got away with obscene headbutts against Kessler and had bull**** scoring against Bika. 2 out of 3 is a pretty bad ratio. Maybe that's why Dirrell dropped out if he thought he'd have to KO Ward to get a draw. But, it's not Ward's fault that Goosen is the most corrupt promoter out there. Other promoters just need to stand up to Showtime/Goosen and refuse to fight Ward in Oakland.

 

Ward, your my boy and all, but that's bull****. Everyone knows how valuable fighting at home has been in this competition. It's totally unfair that everyone has dealt with the burden of going away, but you haven't.

At the end of this tourney Froch will have likely fought away from home 3 times! Meanwhile Ottke 2.0 gets all his fights in his backyard, with his uncle reffing and 3 cousins judging. This is an utter disgrace and its clear Showtime have a huge Ward bias as they see him as being the bigger cash cow when this tourney's all wrapped up.

 

Glen Johnson would fight a ****ing seal in the Arctic with 3 penguins as judges and a bucket of krill for payment.

What a bull**** sense of entitlement from Ward. Until he picks up some good wins in neutral or opposing (fat chance any fight that fits that goes off) territory, he's no different than other hometown champs that milk the title with every possible advantage in their favor.

On a more serious note, what has Ward done to have the right to stay at home for all his fights? I mean he used his head as a battering ram against Kessler and beat Green who simply has no business in the super six and isn't even a good win, then beats Bika who isn't close to being on par with the likes of Froch's resume. Froch won his title against the current man at 175 at home fair enough, goes to beat JT the American in America, comes home and wins a close decision against Dirrell, then goes to defend his title in Kesslers back yard and fights a war there, then when the Abraham fight comes round everyone on ESB was hitting the roof about froch wanting a fight in his hometown. But like the warrior he is he accepts another fight abroad. His next fight against Glen Johnson is going to be where? America. If anyone deserves to fight at home and give his fans another chance to see him fight, it's Carl Froch not Andre Ward
