Count me in! It's just painful to see him fight.... I mean I grew up on Bowe, Meldrick Taylor, Holyfield, and Tyson and it hurt me to see how they went out and hope RJJ doesn't take their routes. I miss what Jones used to be and it's a shame he didn't challenge himself enough then. He could've been so much more:-(.(Yeah I know Real Deal is not yet retired but he might as well be)

Jones has no Chin and no heart. He is a Glass Jawed disgrace. He also never beat a unified, lineal, or undisputed champion.

:good Dropping back down to Light Heavy did not help him at all. As far as Meldrick, the Chavez fight toke alot from him and I think even if he beat JCC someone down the line would end up beating him.

I'm a big big fan of Roy jones through out the 90 but this guy is a joke now, can't take punch anymore, no combination, no footwork just covering his head with two gloves all the time, some fighter just need to call it quit. He's already achieve everything in his prime.

this fight against hopkins it's not important unless he's able to win it again. this would be like tyson vs holyfield III. Big name but technically not important fight.

how does hopkins will get any credit by beating a guy who had lost 5 times in last few years???

Sorry I cant be on this one. I was on the Jones, pull one more out of his ass Express, for Calzaghe, but when he lost to a ******, slapping, winner of the most corny showboater of all time, "workrate" based fighter, I officially deemed Jones SHOT to death, and unable to ever compete near the top ever again. I don't care how good he looks beating other shot fighters(Trinidad), or fighters who were always garbage(Lacy), losing to Danny Green was not even the nail in the coffin for me. He was already buried in my eyes.

Its nice to see fighters make comebacks and do good like when they were young, but I don't like to see my faves do that. RJJ shouldnt have to fight on or prove anything to anybody. I dont care how bad he looks from KO losses, I never seen ANYBODY move like he was able to move in his prime. I'd rather him retire before he embarrases himself further. But if he has to lose, itll at least be to respectable fighter like Hopkins. Although it doesnt do much for BHOP IMO.
