In the last fight, RJJ got away with a huge robbery versus last minute replacement Glazewski, who was extremely untested and pretty limited, but fought a good smart fight and should have won. He was also floored by Glaz, who only has 4 stoppages in his career. Wlod would absolutely wipe the floor with RJJ today, so I can understand he's avoiding him. Pure tactical, wise move by RJJ.
I think he should mow back up to heavyweight, and try and get a few fights in there first. Maybe drop down a few weights after that, wait for the k bros to retire, return to heavyweight and try and fight for a world title. If he try's and Can't, I reckon he should move to 154 for a few fights then retire
Are you a sadist? He would get his head torn off as a HW. There's a reason why a good version of RJJ cherry picked Ruiz as his first and only HW fight. He's got a glass chin and that would be a huge liability against any HW who punches his weight.
Maybe, but he has been working on his defence. He has the speed, and if he implements more bicep curls into his training regeme he will increase his power.
