    I didn't say real anything..

You said Roy never unified, I corrected you.

But to answer your question, If Wilder fought for and collected all the belts, he would be unified, but not lineal.

Roy Jones is just trying to help his HBO colleague Andre Ward.

There is no reason GGG should move out of his weight class when he has the chance to make history and become the unified middleweight champion.

Why should GGG move up to SMW? To give Andre Ward a big payday? Ward can't draw flies to shiit.

Roy must have forgot Andre Ward has been retired for three years. Last I heard he had one exhibition against a no name Mexican over a year ago, anybody remember this? I don't.

He unified from BS politics, I corrected you.

The same politics which thinks Wilder even deserves a world heavyweight title shot having faced NO top 20 ranked HW

    Why so much wailing?

Gerald G-MAN McClellan was the WBC middleweight champ - not yet prime or peak - just a couple months past 27 years of age - and he took his very FIRST bout at SMW by fighting for the WBC super middleweight title/belt. He went to hostile territory to face a more mature man and champion in Nigel Benn.

The point is that a fight with Andre Ward is a terrific matchup for fan's of both fighters. Gennedy has had a long amateur career and is heading toward 33 years of age. He is peak - RIGHT NOW. He is also 1.79 m. His reach is 178 cm.

Andre Ward is going to be 31 years of age. He is 1.83 m. His reach is 180 cm. They are very similar in size.

Andre Ward will inevitably move up to LHW. Gennedy will inevitably move up to SMW. But, once they move up they aren't coming back down again. So, each wants to finish all the business they possibly can at the lower weight class - as that is advantageous to them and easier than fighting larger opponents.

How soon they can meet remains to be seen. But, you won't get Ward against Golovkin if he moves up for Kovalov first.

There are no more important fights for Golovkin at MW. There are financially lucrative fights - which is absolutely his priority as it should be - but not important athletic challenges - for there is no way that Alvarez or Cotto or any of the scrubs at MW are going to be competitive with him. Golovkin has a huge cranium (thus a good chin) and heavy hands and SMW is where he is going. He is not getting any younger. The only question is will Ward still be there. Ward doesn't have much to fight at SMW. He needs Golovkin to hurry up and move up so that when his legal issues are wrapped a mega-fight can be set.

This is a good thing. What better matchup could anyone want? Also there should be the popular but limited Chavez, Jr. in the mix at SMW for both or one of the fighters to make some bank against.

Afterwards, you'll see Ward move up to LHW to face the best there. That's a good thing too.

So, RJJ wants to see GGG/WARD. Who doesn't? He is looking out and knows it is coming. Why post a complaint about a fight that is potentially one of the best possible? Why complain about a fight that will occur before long? It will be risky for both and out of that one will solidify their standing even more. Let's bring it on - soon - in late 2015.

You are only as good as who you fight. Two prime undefeated fighters is a dream fight. Or would you rather watch Golovkin fight some more bums?

After the Ward fight, Golovkin can clean up on Degale or Groves or whatever remains at SMW while Ward moves up to challenges at LHW.

Find something real to whine about ....

He unified none the less, which contradicts your previous statement.

DM would have been stripped regardless, he would not have fought all the mandatories and Kohl said they would not deal with King fighters. So it really matters not.

Why should GGG have to move up with options at his own weight

People would really rather see GGG fight Cotto over Andre Ward?

I'm not sure GGG needs Ward as much as Ward needs GGG. But Ward isn't doing anything to deserve it. GGG has fought four guys since Ward's last fight with a fifth scheduled. Ward looks semi-retired. GGG deserves a payday fight with another top draw to move to SMW which means either Froch or Chavez Jr. not Ward.

What I hope happens is that Canelo takes Cotto's phoney middleweight strap and then GGG fights Canelo for it.
