Not at all, Kelly was underrated.

I think with Fenech in the corner, they could have executed a gameplan.

About to be 5 more. No way Ward gets back by the time Golovkin fights Murray.

GGG fights anybody. But remember - it's business first. Right now GGG is the bigger draw. So gotta pay the man.

Looks like Ward killed Dan Goosen for nothing. He is still NOT fighting.

If he's that good, why not just move up in weight and fight someone else than Froch? + I think the reason Froch won't fight him is that there's not enough money compared to the risk of losing.

there isn't a whole lot to write home about at SMW, so he may as well do what he's doing at MW

I agree that he needs to fight Ward at some point, but he still has unfinished business at 160. Lemieux, Lee , Quillen and Cotto would all be marketable opponents, but I'm pretty sure that only 2 of these guys would realistically consider fighting him. Cotto is certainly no coward, but he's too small to fight someone like GGG.

But do you think GGG will even be champ in that many divisions?

He would at least get credit for moving up, and i think the SMW is a lot stronger still, even though most of the top names are getting old. Abraham, Stieglitz and Sturm would be big in Germany, DeGale in England, Chavez Jr in Mexico and USA and The Dirrells in USA too.

Toney didnt do much at hw. Rjj got a paper belt, which is still a great feat. But Rjj is Fighter of the Decade like Pac, and Ggg will do well to accomplish half of what these guys did. What he is is the worlds best mw, and probably most avoided fighter in boxing still, despite his rising popularity. If a bigger badass like Froch would rather swerve you, hard to do much about that resume

Toney was pound for pound No 1 or 2 (depending on whether you liked Whitaker more) at the time Roy fought him. Enough said. :deal

Toney did more at heavyweight than Roy, by fighting and beating decent heavyweights. He also beat the best cruiserweight in Jirov.

Roy above light heavyweight only accomplishment was Ruiz.Could you have imagine Roy fighting the likes of Peter or Rahman which were really big heavyweights?
