80% of humanity are consumers. That's human nature. The media sold Roy Jones and everyone bought it. Tarver, Johnson, and Calzaghe exposed him. Of course, Roid's fanboys bought into the idea that he only got exposed because he gained some weight to fight Ruiz then had to lose it -- pure rubbish. It was ****in' 8 lbs. Roy should have stayed away from those three.

I miss thinking Roid was God.

Is "the media" your term for ungodly talent and athleticism? Then yes, "the media" sold roy jones along with tremendous knockout ability, ring intelligence and hang speed. His fights are incredible to watch because he was frighteningly dominate. I'm not comparing him to calzaghe because they're two different cats. And two completely different levels of talent

    Roid:

    Talent - check
Intelligence - Check (He was smart enough to stay away from the mean 3 for as long as he could)
Hang speed - I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, only 'cause I don't know what that is.
    KO Abilty - check
Chin - No Sir. Had a chin similar to a fainting goat.
Abilty to beat top level fighters - Sometimes, sometimes not.

haha, well i'll give you that one you *****. should've edited...

well it looks like you have some idea how talented he was so how can you claim tarver and johnson would have won more than 3 rounds against him???

Roid was dominated by Tarver, Johnson, and Calzaghe. Nothing to be ashamed of. They are all great fighters. Roid had a good career, but his limitations kept him from acheiving greatness. ;)

He's talented, but he's not the total package, obviously.

Collins would've been tough for Roid, seriously.
