No way, no how. He lost his punch resistance. He didn't have an iron jaw but a glass one? Chins vary in many degrees not just "Iron chin, Glass jaw"
Listen, his punch resistance was well gone, his legs gone, he was ****ed up. One KO from a good punch, after a long career of taking big blows and jumping from middle to heavy, hardly ever showing signs of being hurt does not make him glass jawed.
In the post-fight interview of the first Tarver fight Jones admitted he was knocked out in the amateurs.
Let me be clear. You have no argument as to why Jones has not acheived more in his carrer than all the aformentioned fighters. He has beaten better fighters, more impressivly and in more weight classes than them all. You have nothing. :good
many fighters have, jesus im no die hard jones fan but the guy took 95 percent of the punches in his career without a problem, so he is not glass jawed.
Saying Jones got KO'd in the ams doesnt have any bearing on his chin. Tua got KO'd in the ams, he has a "decent" jaw wouldn't you say? :good
