It was the boxer who met him and gave him the gold medal, which I think is a very noble thing to do. The boxer gave him the medal awarded to the Korean boxer. But the IOC has not given Jones a gold medal. As far as the time taken...maybe the Korean wanted to display his medal at home? LOL Jones will send him the silver medal Jones got.
