He tested postive for anabolic steroids and was 6 times over the recommended level. Since ethereal recommended level is a joke and already 3 or 5 times above normal then roy testosterone levels were between 18 times and 30 times that of a normal man. If yiu think that was from taken a bit of ripped fuel then you have a lot of faith in the man and not a lot in logic

If you look up the ingredients as to what he took it was a steroid but for fat loss his opponents levels were 10 x the legal game.

The oddest thing about his claims is that something like his speed isn't some abstract ineffable quality. That is objectively quantifiable, easily. Just queue up video of him in his prime and now and time how long punches take reaching point Z from A. He was (as long as the videos haven't been doctored with the framerate altered) DEMONSTRABLY some magnitudinal orders faster in his prime. :huh

It would be like Usain Bolt saying he's faster now than in his early twenties, when that just isn't what the raceclocks show.

..or like Ichiro Suzuki boasting that his on base percentage is higher now than it was in his prime. Ah-so...numbers beg to differ, buddy!

I often wonder if it's because sometimes they guys might show FLASHES in sparring and it gets to their head.

There's all sorts of gym tales of very old fighters having moments against far younger talent in sparring. I remember a month of two back a guy who said he worked with KJ recalled a time when Holmes and KJ sparred and Holmes got the better of him! I take that with a grain of salt, but that wouldn't be the first time a report/rumor like that surfaced.

He has already had several concussions, and will likely face permanent damage as he gets older.. You shouldn't wish that on anyone, especially considering the man that dethroned him was likely juiced to the gills..

He has already paid enough. No one should wish anymore damage on him.

    Good point.

...and the worse/slower (or more starstruck and willing to make themselves look bad in deferential pity) the sparring partner... the greater the delusions become.

It can't be from having simply managed to score one-hit kayos against the likes of Watkins.

(though even that for a man Roy's age, with his wear and tear, is fairly impressive)

Antonio Tarver has been busted how many times now?:huh

And having no respect for someone and wishing permanent damage on someone (which is already likely especially if he takes any more beatings) are two different things.

Stop taking it easy on Roy in sparring Pascal! Give him a beatdown and tell him that he's old and needs to retire for his own good. :nono

Yeah like I said on page one... Roys punches definitely seem to still have their sharpness and sting to them(as they say powers the last to go) But he's too slow of a mover and open to punches to really make the most of it anymore.

If he said "I know I still have the power to put anyone at CW down" that wouldn't be so ridiculous.
