apparent, the fight will be in milwaukee, wi. against former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis! the weight will be at cruiser.
don't know if i should laugh or cry at this! he is 54, a year younger than me! what are your thoughts?

    Easy knockout victory for RJjr.

I hope that this fight finally puts to rest the debate over which discipline is better boxing or the mma one.

My trainer is sparring with him a couple times a week in Pensacola in preparation for this fight. Jones never actually stopped seriously training after he retired. A bit puzzling to me. I never thought he was in love with boxing, but he seens to be.

Petis been running his mouth for too long, it's finally gonna come the day of reckoning!
Roy's been trying to do right and live a life of peace but sometimes enough is enough

Uff RJJ needs to sit down. Not good getting your brains scrambled on the regular at that age

Pettis is a small guy though. His highest weigh was 155, so that's why Jones is fighting him.

Jones think his size will give him an advantage and Pettis may not be strong enough to seriously hurt him.

How that fight got sanctioned beats me. The last real fights Roy had against real boxers he got knocked cold.
The debacle with Mike Tyson doesnt count. If he gets caught by this former UFC lightweight champ he could be seriously hurt. Anyone that buys that farce needs locking up lol

He doesn’t love it, he’s dependent on it. Would like to quit but can’t.

Trained since a child, and I reckon he needs combat above all, given his post-Tarver career.

Can’t blame Roy for getting a warm up fight in before he fights tyson fury at Wembley.

Jones has at least picked the right mark. Pettis is a little guy who wasn’t a puncher even in 4 oz gloves.

I have doubts that Rip Wheeler would even consider sanctioning a spectacle of this magnitude.

I'm not sure how big a puncher you'd have to be to scramble Roy, there's a video on you tube with all of Roy's ko losses. It's horrifying
