I know thats why I'm saying on that night, the sports best athlete ever possibly under that state of mind was the baddest man ever to step into a ring. :deal
Can you imagine how Griffin felt hearing the bell ring for round one and seeing that version of Roy across from him? You can't tell me there wasn't a tiny part of him screaming "Oh ****..."
Yeah the ****ing guy got an "I'm gonna avenge my only loss" ass kicking from the sports best fighter, when he only won the first fight because the guy hit him when he was down :rofl:rofl:rofl Griffin = Ultimate **** My Life moment :deal
as a professional fighter i guarantee you he wasnt. mental state of mind is everything to a fighter - but you're dismissing it becasue it might give you rep points now. thats serious ignorance.
So all the fighters that were "beaten before they got in the ring" against Tyson, Foreman, Jones, Ali, etc.....that's all a load of bull****, because they were "professional fighters" and not susceptible to intimidation and lack of confience???? Who's ignorant? atsch
Yeah, just calm down a little bit with all that. I've seen your posts. I know you train, or claim to train, very, very hard. That's cool. It doesn't make you God gift to ESB when it comes to understanding the fighting ethos. And until you can tell me you stood 20 feet away from a prime Roy Jones about to go to work, don't tell me you know exactly what Griffin was thinking. That's anybody's guess and mine is as good as yours. If you really think all boxers sport the exact same "We Are Sparta" ethic, in and out of the ring, I question how much you "actually" know about the mindset of a fighter.
And Peter McNeely was 100% certain he was gonna put Tyson on his ass until ummmm he woke up the day after the fight was signed
ive always backed up everything i have to say. and you can either quote from your favourite movie or quote from experience. i'll tell you what the difference is.
. Which is why when you post about hard training, I've been interested to read what you have to say. We've been talking about Griffin - Jones II in this thread. What in the way this fight played itself out makes you think Griffin was completely unintimidated?
