Roy Jones Jr. Is A Disgrace

Jones has been a shame most of his career when he had his opponents hurt and he is still hesitant to finish them off.

Jones became a disgrace starting the 1st Tarver fight. He is too inactive and hesitant. I only managed to watch his 3rd fight with Tarver 2X, and I grit my teeth at disbelief of such a fighter who is just too scared to do ****.

Reminds me of clottey against pac as far as effort. I think roy did put b hops down though.

 

What does that say about Bernard? He needed an incompetent ref, acting, fouls and numerous rest breaks.

I was hoping for more action in the fight and less soap opera, but Im pleased that hopkins avenged his loss

 

Hopkins was just as much of a disgrace. There were 3 or 4 times when he COULD have KOed Jones, but decided to take his foot off the gas. And after taking FOUR unwarranted breaks and barely doing squat half the fight, he STILL collapsed from exhaustion after the fight? Dude needs to retire.

not only that, but he acted more like a ****** ***** in the fight in "winning" than did a Shot Jones in losing....

 

true that. the whole thing was a sham but somehow despite the victory, hopkins came out looking the worst.

 

With out like 4 Rest Breaks and an Incompetent ref Jones probably would've won.

 

why all the hate on here for rico? he's one of the most knowledgable posters on esb. i've only been on here a few months but i've never seen the man lose an argument yet.
