Jones is the worst. His bias against Eastern Europeans and whites in general is transparent and tiresome, if you havent noticed that you're a fool or a tool. His comments in the Klitshcko Brewster fight were laughable and his idiotic arrogance was on full display as he constantly criticized Tarver and Johnson in their fight; the two guys who had both just knocked him ice cold. A good fighter who never took chances and an absolutely abysmal commentator always letting his ego obscure his viewpoint. I happen to think Stewart is a very good commentator but a little dry, a guy that was great was Gil Clancy, listen to him call Duran Barkley, a first rate job.

RJJ is clearly the best expert commentator however Merchant is still the best color commentator in the sport.

 Crack is whack. That is two fights where his ego got in the way. Other then that he calls the **** before it happens and tells you what the fighters are thinking and trying to do. STFU Crackhead

Whatever poser. Stating the obvious does not make one a great commentator and neither does an inability to overcome your bias. Those are only his most glaring calls but hardly isolated. If you want to worship him thats your problem. Boxing is never short of complete sycophants who have to live vicariously through their "heroes." Also the 90's are over buy a new saying, and a new identity while your at it.

Roy's insight is tremendous. I think he nailed Guinn's problem right on the head, but he talks too quickly and is hard to understand at times. If he worked on speaking clearer, he would be the best.

Yeah Roy Jones JR is a great commentator. Way better then Emmanuel Steward.. Steward is biased as all hell. Just listen to Steward commentate a Mayweather fight.. He ALWAYS criticizes Floyd and hardly ever gives him his props and if he does give him props he instantly gives criticizm in the next breath. He's a real douchebag.

Floyd is the best commentator HBO or any other network can possibly have.

I have yet to see another announcer who can see the fight the way Jones does.

Another example was in the third Hops Allen fight, Jones called that knockdown and it happened just like he said it would.
