He was excellent on HBO. Far, far better than Lennox Lewis. However, he does seem to have slipped a notch verbally.

Retire, Roy and please stop thinking you're pound for pound in 2007.

So basically, because he didn't mention YOUR favorite fight, he is automatically ridiculous, and has an American Bias.....it's not possible that YOU don't have a European bias and are thus overreacting? There are many candidates for fight of the year. Calzaghe-Kessler doesn't automatically win, and someone not mentioning it doesn't mean they have some kind of bias.

I think hopkins could make a good commentator someday.

He was a guest commentator on ESPN one time during his nephew's fight and he had a really good techincal analysis.

I agree, his techincal knowledge is the best and he always had great things to point out. He did sound like a reject when talking but was alot better than Lewis.

Foreman was very entertaining, he knows how to work and audience, but his technical analysis wasnt that good. He was always biased for the punchers like Tito and said the same **** over and over, though I liked him.

Yeah. I agree with everyone who says Roy was the best commentator. He had the best technical knowledge and analysis by far and pointed out a lot of interesting things that other commentators don't. Foreman was a great personality, but he was often biased and annoying at times. Lennox doesn't have barely any personality and usually adds nothing to the broadcasts. I wish Roy was still on HBO.

Roy is good. He's sharp, articulate and knows what he's talking about unlike Lewis who always says "Fighter A has to use his jab" over and over again.

Oh please, Manny is biased but Roy isn't?

I guess ya'll forgot when Roy said Toney could beat both Klitschkos on the same night, right? That was a blatant attempt to boost his own status based on his dominating win over Toney.

I'm a fan of Roy but his commentary is biased.

I prefer Lennox's commentary to Roy's myself. Lewis continues to improve.
