Don't talk ****. Collins was 168lb champion and repeatedly offered Jones good money for a unification fight. Would have been a big fight in both the UK & USA with both fighters well known.

Jones turned it down. An irrefutable duck.

Johnson was a top middleweight in the early 90s but was old by the time Jones fought him.

    An irrefutable cherry pick.

It wasn't a Cherry pick, Johnson was rated high by all boxing critics. Johnson was a top light heavy you idiot. His losses prior, only one was real. That was to David Jackson. Everyone knows he was robbed against Toney and everyone knows Jorge Fernando "Locomotora" Castro didn't actually beat him -- whom was a man that Jones beat EARLY in his career, a victory which is underrated. Hell he won the LHW title with a sensational one punch knockout against William Guthrie. After losing to jones he went on to win 2 more bull**** titles against decent comp, but loss a VERY close decision to Tarver. He then retired and came back for one fight, and defeated Julio Gonalez for the lineal LHW title and then he retired. If you are going to sell some bull**** that he was not a top LHW and not great at LHW, you dont know **** about boxing.

Collins came out of a brief retirement to fight Jones. In order to do so, he had to fight Calzaghe, the man Collins ducked before. Collins agreed, because he was going to get a guaranteed 3 mil for the fight. But during training he supposedly collapsed and figured it a sign that he shouldn't fight anymore. I believe RJJ shouldve fought Collins way back in SMW division. For the life of me I will not understand it, as Collins, talent wise, was simply not on his level.

You absolute ****ing ******. Quoted forever.

 Jones was bullshitting as usual. He had already ducked Collins repeatedly. Jones didn't even allow Collins to be interviewed when he was stood right next to him in the ring after one of Jones's 175lb fights. That's how keen Jones was.

Stupid minions daring to post about things they know absolutely nothing about. Go back to the other site you clown.

How does that make me ******ed? I don't use boxrec and other stuff, i was going by memory with all this because I follow boxing. But looking at Wikipedia, I see he came back in 2005, but it doesn't say he fought anyone during that time, only that he fought and defeated Julio, not for the lineal title, as he loss that title way before it. (edited, i prior put he won the title from Julio)

So that was my mistake, but still it doesn't detract from what I was suggesting, which is, that Reggie Johnson was a top LHW, as you don't achieve what he did and not be a top fighter in the division. No one ever blew him away like Jones did, and before Jones the only clear loss he had was to Davis, he was robbed against Toney and robbed against that other guy. So how was he not a top LHW?????????

Besides, it makes no difference for me to make mistake. This is the first mistake I have made about boxing match since I have been here. But you can quote it, I'll quote the ****ing ******ed thing for you and make a thread. This forum isn't that important to me, as it is to you.

everyone look how ******ed I am. I put that he retired and came back for one fight and fought Gonalez for the title, when he didn't really do this, as this fight happened in 2008, when Julio was far removed from the title. Also he didn't retire after the fight, the reason he stopped fighting was because he went to prison for committing a crime. I am so ******ed and my memory is ****. Quoted forever, so all the people of this forum, most of which dont exist to me, can see how ******ed I am. I r very mad and it is ironic that I said mr.Joe.boxer dont know **** about boxing, when it is I who was so off in my memory, that I dont really know **** about it.

He's fighting a Feather Fisted Pole named Glazewski and he STILL might get viciously KOed. That is how bad his Glass Jaw is. He has no Chin. None.

As of 6 hours ago the original opponent may get a weekend furlough to fight jones it seems. Maybe the lack of training for two weeks may save jones if this Kostecki character fights him.

Roy should have saved. I understand that everyone has their own line of work but He could have just easily gone to the bank and opened up a CD account at the very least.

Go kick rocks you disgrace of a boxing fan ! Who gives a **** what he offered Jones when Jones owned the man that beat him ! And Johnson was the IBF light heavy weight champ when he fought Jones or did your clouded memory forget that ? Typical nonesense from the likes of you ! Johnson was a much better fighter than Collins you clown ! But I don't expect anything less from the likes you ! :hi:
