CHRIS EUBANK - Roy Jones used to call Eubank up eariler in his career asking Chris to give him a shot at the title. Eubank always said no if I fight Jones, people would be like who is this guy he's fighting. Eubank stated Jones was a nobody at the time. (Not sure what year this was). Chris also said he would ONLY fight Jones if he was a mandatory for his belt.

Then in '96 Eubank called out Jones saying he wants to fight him...This is just after Eubank 2 X'S to Collins.


Eubank wanted one last big money fight, Jones said there was no point of making the fight now.But I know it was a duck right ! Again your an idiot ! Do your ****ing homework you cancer and a disgrace disgrace as a boxing fan and the message boards !

Buddy,Im Irish and remember being a kid really wanting to see the fight.

But with the fullness of time and maturity,I now see what would have happened if they fought.

RJJ at the time of Collins was a freak that we may never see the like of again.

On a side note, Eubank has said PERSONALLY since he retired, that he feels that he would not have been abale top beat RJJ and thats why he never wanted to fight him in his prime.

It was only when Eubank got older and got beaten a few times that he really tried to make the fight but at that stage it was too late.
