Yes really. These are the words of the Commissioner of Indiana Boxing who's eyes had laid witness to Roy's test results; ''Roy Jones tested positive for steroids. He was five or six times over an acceptable level.'' One opponent out of 74 that was caught playing the same dangerous game he was playing. The rest never stood a chance. He's best years was when he when he had roids in his system, no one could land a glove on him. When he got caught after 2003, obviously he would no longer be able to continue with his cycles and we saw the effect of that in the ring with the subsequent losses that followed. So I have no idea what point you are trying to make by requesting evidence of another failed test. During his best years, his use remained undetected and as a result become a behemoth inside that squared circle where he was literally unbeatable and apparently no scrutiny should lay at the door of the use of performance enhancing drugs! This is a ridiculous sentiment. You can't ignore solicited roid abuse and pretend that they offer little. Why on earth would a sportsman risk their career, reputation and long term health for such? They know it can be the game changer, that is why. Lance Armstrong broke countless records inside his sport, yet all of his accomplishments have now been derided and his reputation forever tarnished as a result of being a roid abuser.
lol in the Seoul Olympics in 1988 ..they tested everyone and the caught Ben Johnson..100metres winner. Jones was by far the best boxer that year...he was alone in the ring... Roy Jones Jr. the most talented fighter ever !!!
Coming from a guy who had a roid cheat in his avatar who got called out for his double standards yet once again only to change it that's funny.
There we go again, derailing the topic into other irrelevant rubbish. How you've survived this long on these boards is a mystery. If you have an issue with any of the points I have made above, then you are more than welcome to offer an opposing view.
Did you or did you not have a roid cheat as your avatar before you changed it when you first commented in the thread? Yes or No?
Of course not. Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but not others. I rest my case. Thanks for exposing yourself once again here for the 10th time. You're too easy.
You really believe every situation is black and white. There exists grey areas, and then there are certainties. Roy Jones has gone on record and admitted his drug use and has sympathised with other roid cheats. Unfortunately someone as stupid and childish as yourself wouldn't be able to differentiate between a confirmed proud roid cheat and someone who is against roids trying to clear their name.
You had Lucas Browne as your avatar you support him and say that he's innocent but for others you don't give them the benefit of the doubt. That's always been your track record here and it can't be any more clear.
How can you give someone the benefit of the doubt when they have more or less admitted to their guilt? It is cut and dry with Roy Jones Jr. Browne's test was suspect and there was more questions asked then answered surrounding the whole case. If someone creates a thread and wishes to Label Browne a drug cheat, they are entitled to do so. I'm not going to argue with them and pretend that I know with certainty that he was innocent. I struggle to see your purpose in this thread other than to try and antagonise people who don't fall on their knees for Roy. What point are you actually attempting to make here?
That it's doesn't matter that Jones took roids because you believe he'd still be great without the gear? Even though after he came off it and was clean, he then got beat and shown up by Calzaghe?
