    What sense??

He's now arguing against what Evander's right hand man has said. Jim Thomas was his attorney for 13 years. He made all of his fights within that period. And he was sat next to Evander in a restaurant in Atlanta when talks were held.

He was there in person and recalled what happened. And Evander read his accounts and gave his full blessing for the book to be published.

It's just pure desperation, for you both to try and argue against what Thomas has said.

    It's pathetic.

Why do you keep saying he ducked a Hopkins rematch, when there's two articles and a video that prove otherwise?

Why should he have put all of his belts on the line in Germany?

And now he was scared of Jirov? Right.

And Toney schooled Jirov did he? Ha! Another fight that you've obviously not seen.

Is there any point in me elaborating on the fact that HBO had a pre approved list, and they confirmed that many guys including Frankie Liles didn't want to fight him?

No doubt you'll predictably hit your default setting and reply with the usual insults, seeing as you've got zero knowledge on the subject.

How many times do you have to get schooled on this ? What you think as the months go by people will forget the ass whooping u have taken on this topic ? Lennox chose to fight Vitaliti !!

Don't act like Roy didn't try to make the fight..I see your trying to rewrite history to try to impress the young ignorant fools on here

Also, if Jones gets critizised for "weak opposition" why doesnt anyone do it for DM? The guy who would supposedly have ended the Jones hype train?

    Ka-Dy King?
    Nicky Piper?
    Muslim Biarslanov?
    Darren Zenner?
    Andrea Magi?
    Joey DeGrandis?
    Everardo Armento Jr?
    Paul Carlo?
    Phillipe Michel?
    Asluddin Umarov?
    Roberto Dominguez?

    And these were TITLE FIGHTS!!!

And theres people who have the nerve to deride Jones resume, and talk about DM like some sort of machine!

    Ridiculous

My friend recently spoke with Lennox. He asked him if Jones approached him about a fight. He replied simply "yes"

All the "Jones is scared of big fights" is a bunch of BS.. Sure he did weigh the risk/reward. If he thought it was worth his while he would certainly do it.

You love to talk about 'circumstances' and 'timelines' but ignore it for this situation which is hilarious. Furthermore you claim Jones didn't handpick ANY fights. So Lennox goes on to beat Holyfield in November of 1999. He was THE Heavyweight champion from that point on. But you also say that Roy HAD to fight Ruiz because he beat Holyfield in December of 2001. So why would Roy wait until 2003 to fight Ruiz but ignored the fact that:

#1. Lennox had beaten Holyfield just like Ruiz did

#2. Lennox was THE Heavyweight Champion

So why even fool with Ruiz? This makes no damn sense using the logic you use for everything else.:rofl:patsch

Roy asked for 100 million to fight Lewis killing the fight right then and there. If you want to tell me that Toney wanted to fight Lewis i would believe cause Toney didnt move to HW to cherrypick a weak champion like Roy he stayed there and fought guys much bigger than him. Roy might have beat a weight drained lights Out but i sure as hell have more respect for Toney than i have for Jones,Toney was a throwback ,he would fight anyone,if only he had the discipline.....

Didn't Mayweather get more than that for fighting the smaller Pacquiao? Lennox could have seriously hurt Roy.

Roy was nowhere near the draw Mayweather is now or even Pacquiao. Tyson old and past his best was still a bigger draw than Jones and he didnt get anything close to 100 million when he fought Lennox. Jones asked for 100 million knowing that he would never get that amount of money, killing a potential fight with Lewis from the get go, Thats my opinion. If you ask me if he deserved 100 million to fight Lewis i would say hell yeah he deserved considering what Mayweather gets nowadays but it was something that wasnt possible at the time.
