    It was weak....

    Tarver and Johnson brutally stopped Jones.

    Johnson was a failed 160 and 168 fighter....

    Tarver couldn't cut it against Dawson, the same Dawson who couldn't cut it against today's champions.

    The rest where nothing to write home about and certainly no better than 168 at the time.

    You're anti Calzaghe thread is too transparent.

    Roy was stopped in 2004.

    What about the other 5 years he was there, genius?

    How on earth is this an anti Calzaghe thread?

    I posted this article 2 years ago, as at the time, a few members were asking for in-depth information of Roy's career, especially the early stages that he shared with his father. It had absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to do with Joe Calzaghe.

    175 was weak, at the time one of the most mundane divisions.

    At the time it was as weak or worse than 168.

    Why does it bother you so much LouDumb?? :) I just thought it was a good topic to bump! No harm right? Why are you getting so touchy about it sport?!

    Anyway your hero Jones is very, very overrated here by people like you. I mean he was a good fighter.. don’t get me wrong. But eventually we found out he wasn’t as unstoppable as many made him out to be :)
