Obviously, Roy was quicker but the fact that you even have to ask the question speaks volumes as to how fast Ali was for a HeavyWeight.

    Great post.

Pre-exile, one of the top 5 to ever have laced them up in my opinion.

Ali was amazingly quick for a heavy but Jones had speed WITH knock out power.

Jones was faster. Both were lightning though.

I agree. He was a very special fighter. Insane quality.

How can you even compare a Glass Jawed fraud who handpicked all his fights and REFUSED to fight the best fighters to a guy that took on everyone in his division? Dumb thread.

Erm, anyone want to explain what the word "speed" means to this semen receptacle??

Ali shits on Glass Jaw Roy Jones in every conceivable and meaningful category.

Here is something you might like nuthugger since you are always wanting to discuss P4P:

Pound 4 Pound Ali was faster than Roy Jones.

    How do you like that?

I like it more, since it has some relevance to the question asked, unlike your hate-filled recycled rubbish first post.

But I don't like it that much, because if the question was: who's taller Roy Jones or Danny DeVito, you'd say DeVito coz Jones was a Glass-Jawed Fraud.

I'm so sick of all this RJJ hate...WHO did he run from? Please somebody tell me...all the other best fighters during his prime were fighting at least 25-30 pounds below him...the only fighter close to his weight was Trinidad and he had a deal to fight him but Trinidad chose to do the middleweight tournament and fight Hopkins which Roy didn't want because he knew Hopkins would beat him
thats why he went up to hw in the first place and everybody knocked him for that cuz he chose John Ruiz...what was he supposed to do hop in with Lennox Lewis or one of the Klitschkos and get outweighted by 50 pounds? Or maybe he was supposed to fight that Russian guy who wouldn't leave Russia...after the way Roy was robbed in Korea in the Olympics who would blame him for not wanting to go there to fight
Like I said before, he beat a prime James Toney and Bernard Hopkins so dont say he hasnt fought anybody cuz thats 2 hall of famers...and yea Roy doesn't have a strong chin...cant argue that...but whats great about Roy is that IT TOOK 50 FIGHTS TO FIND THAT OUT...how many others went that long without gettin touched

Ali by knockout. This would be a mismatch.
