Exactly. We could also play some right hands from Hearns highlight reel.

Of course not. It wasn't a particularly serious post. (That said, Hearns was vulnerable to those kinds of looping shots.)

Hearns legs were much better at 160 and sturdy,Jones only hope would be to land something like Barkley, but then again he would'nt have been able to take that beating to make it to that point, and Hearns had a better chin the punches he go hit with het didnt see and got up everytime Roy was snoring and saw both shots but his reflexes would'nt let him move out of the way.I think its a very bad match up for Jones, his advantages that he had over everyone he would'nt have over Hearns, who is also just as fast and probably faster with his hands, and the brutual body attack would put on him on would be viscious the onslaught would be on,and Roy isnt the most courages guy around, and he would deffinetly be in fear in this match.

Sorry, why does Hearns have a better chin than Jones?

He took shots from better fighters,do you really argue that?and they had to go thru brutal beatings to get to that point with some luck as well,do you think Roy could have persavered enough to do that?

Yes he does. He took bombs from Hagler for three rounds, where each one of them would have knock out a lot of people.
Jones took one bomb from Tarver and Johnson (?).

Jones took punches from Ruiz and while Ruiz wasn´t a banger he was a hw. He punches harder than Hagler for sure.

For sure. And yet, both Tarver and Johnson knock him out cold whereas Ruiz couldn't. See my point ?

Yeah well, you say Ruiz hits harder than Hagler. He landed once or twice cleanly on Jones but he couldn't knock him out. Tarver surely doesn't have the strength of Ruiz but he managed to KO Jones.
My point is you don't need tremendous strength to knock somebody out. You just need to put some weight in your fist and hit at the good spot.
Hagler was a master at this. He knocked people down with his damn jab !

But Ruiz hit Jones on his chin with his weight behind the punch. More than once. Jones chin is getting a bit underrated. And I´m probably the biggest critic of Jones on here.

Sorry, but that does not hold any water,Ruiz is 1 of the few fighters won without fighting,I really dont think he hit as hard as Johnson,Tarver,or Hagler, and to top it all off,his technique was much inferior to Johnsons, which deffinetly isnt saying a whole lot, that Heavy belt that Jones won was a complete utter joke.
