Canelo beat the a fast opponent in Trout, Maidana beat a fast fighter in Broner, and Guerrero beat the faster Berto.

Speed and stamina are physical attributes that fade with time, and over the course of the fight as attrition wear's on.

In fight's like this where there is no real advantage for either physically, thing's like skill, heart, desire, mentality comes into play.

For me Mayweather edges Pacquiao in 3/4 categories.
Skillwise even though both are great fighter's it's no question who's the more skillful.
Heart we've never got a chance to see Floyd really tested, while we know the meddle of Pacquiao so he takes it here.
As far as Desire again I think Mayweather takes this by a narrow margin. Manny believes he's "destined by god" to beat Mayweather maybe it's just talk but he has basically the world wanting him to win, Meanwhile Mayweather has his entire legacy/way of life at stake. A man fighting for his livelihood is dangerous, the biggest stage to show all who've doubted even after 18yrs on top.

Finally mentality both are training hard no question but you have Manny saying he thinks this is gonna be easier than Hoya, while Mayweather is preparing for a tough battle. That is a big thing Mayweather is ready for a tough fight, Manny though he's used to tough fight's if he's not expecting fire when inevitably met with it could have adverse effects. Also Pacquiao is used to losing so another loss will always be in his mind if it doesn't go as expected early. Mayweather having never lost coming back and dominating in second half's of fight's and always prevailing, adjusting that is big in both part's.

Ultimately I get a Pac-JMM IV type feel too much animosity built up. Mayweather by TKO10/11 in a tough fight.

It's going to take Floyd more time to figure out Pac.....his speed, rhythm and awkwardness will be obstacles that Floyd will have to acclimate to during the 1st half of the fight....if he can't do accomplish that by the mid way point or before, he is in trouble. If Floyd comes out and gets the respect of Manny he might have a shot at expediting the shift.....I whole heartedly believe Manny snatches the early rounds but up in the air as to when Floyd is able to figure things out and take over. It will be an interesting fight that will ebb and flow in terms of who is in control.

They are very different types of fighters. Zab is a slick cagey, fighter who out-thinks and outboxes and outspeeds his opponents. Pacquiao is volume boxer/puncher who outworks and outreacts and outspeeds his opponents. Both are fast southpaws, but thats about all they have in common.

Judah didn't decline, Floyd started fighting differently, that's why the momentum changed. Floyd started being more offensive and put his guard up rather than relying on his reflexes.

That fight is actually a great display of Floyd's ability to figure out how to deal with a guy and adapt. Highest ring IQ I've ever seen.

That all depends on how much he gets hit.

Taking all of those jabs to the body and it will slow any body down.

Judah had a better performance against Mayweather that Manny did.

Manny looked out of gas by round 6. My observation. He was slow with his footwork compared to Floyd and that was the major difference. He wasn't illusive enough either.
