Would Jones be able to beat a 29-year old version of the Rock?

He could, but I think Rahman presented more of a stylistic challenge for Roy than Ruiz did. I think Rahman may have had a better jab (when he actually used it, anyway) and he had more power to threaten Roy with.

he could definitely pull out a win over Rahmam, but Rahman has a big chance of knocking him out if fighting inside.

I'd vote in favour of Jones 7/10.

    I don't think so, no.

Jones was nearly gassed out in the Ruiz fight and Rahman presents much more of a stylistic challenge..... in addition to having the power to put Roy to sleep.

I think Jones vs Chris Byrd would have been a good fight at the time though.... rather than moving back to 175.

Rahman is slower than Ruiz, but he punches much harder. I still dont think he has a chance of landing on Jones.

RJ outclasses Rahman at this time. Rahman's power negated as you cannot hit what's not there.
