Jones had a brilliant exchange with G.Kelly leading up to the KO and for that it was his best KO, the only problem with the KO was that Kelly was a plodder and very easy to trick, does the fact that Kelly wasn`t out cold and was such a bad fighter devalue that iconic KO? https://www.google.com/search?q=Roy+Jones+Jr.'s+Greatest+KO+Explained+-+Brilliant+Exchanges&rlz=1C1CHBF_enGB862GB862&oq=Roy+Jones+Jr.'s+Greatest+KO+Explained+-+Brilliant+Exchanges&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i61.1723j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 The Modern Martial Artist
The KO of Thomas Tate was his best imo. That left hook was one of the best I’ve seen and I’m a big left hook fan!
That was awesome. I only went for Griffin, because it was a lead uppercut, and it was up at 175 pounds. I’ve never seen anyone knock out a guy with a lead uppercut before. His best stoppage has to have been against Paz. I know that Paz was hopelessly outmatched, but that 6 punch combination whilst walking forwards was unbelievable. The timing, the technique and the footwork etc was a sight to behold. Who walks forward and throws uppercuts from either hand? Roy was something else.
