This was about the first talks of them fighting.

When the talks first came up, Floyd requesting extra testing through the state commission is what they suggested. TR and pac said if floyd did that, they would follow whatever the commission asked for. Floyd NEVER went that way.

care to explain again? or are you happy with smart ass comments that don't even give a serious answer?

NSAC testers aren't equipped to do the test that the USADA/VADA does. It's much more complex and the staffing/$$$ just isn't there (this is from Kizer)

Jones is the last dude who should accuse a P4P fighter of ducking top tier comp while on top of the list.

Alot of filler in that Jones resume while he "was" P4P.
(Both Hopkins/Toney fights were before him being labled the P4P #1)
    ^If I'm not mistaken...

Anyone have a list of who he fought after Toney that was in that league?
(40 year old McCallum does not count IMO)

Sound like RJJ might be a bit bitter towards the Flow Floyd has made?

I really don't believe the NSAC would attempt to conduct the test themselves. The more obvious route would be them outsourcing the testing to either of the two agencies.

Floyd had this choice, but he didn't even attempt to try it. And Why? Probably because then the fight would be made.

Why would they need to go through the commission to outsource when Pac and Floyd could just do it themselves and bring the USADA in? You really expect nevada to rework their structure for one fight? They won't even do it for the bigger leagues let a long a boxing event.

Also, VADA was not yet formed so USADA was the only option in 2009. Pac walked, and has been the only fighter opposed to testing since it's inception. :-(

:patsch We've gone over this before haven't we? This is NOT about restructing anything. It's simply having the commision oversee third party testing. For the money this fight would generate in Vegas, and the message it would send, there's NO reason the commission would turn down floyds request. Floyd had this simple solution, one that would make the state commission they FIGHT IN, handle it. Which is not unreasonable at all. Yet he decided against that.

You can make all the smart ass comments you like about Pac, but he took the EXACT same test floyd did 41 times, as well as every other boxer before.

Please stop comparing RJJ and FMJ. A prime RJJ could beat anyone with ease and most people admit that. RJJ in his prime was probably the most talented boxer ever. If RJJ was in the business of ducking he would have ducked Toney. FMJ is clearly in the business of ducking. Why would RJJ have ducked anyone. Come on, he didnt need to duck anyone.

No, we've actually never been over this. I don't see the NSAC doing this at all. They don't have the resources, knowledge, nor the staffing equipped to do testing. They wouldn't even consider doing it for superbowls which is a multi-billion dollar event let alone this.

So what would make them equipped to oversee it?

It's a reference to the literal telephone pole jab Liston is showcasing in my av :yep

I do agree with you about people ragging on each other, hurling insults back and forth... Passionate bickering over multi-millionaires. A real life or death matter. I don't have a problem with one soul on here. It's not that serious.

:huh You don't think the NSAC could outsource testing to USADA? Why are you commenting as if the NSAC would actually do the test, and NOT go to an agency that can? There's no way they would try to do it on their own.

As for the super bowl, the NFL is a vastly larger entity then a single fight. Not to mention, there's a Players Union as well that would have to approve this BEFORE and have the tests added to players contracts.

You seem to choose to believe the NSAC would say NO to floyd's request as a method of convenience.

RJJ's opinion is worth less than a wet food stamp. Get outta here old man before I call Denis Lebedev to come knock that ass out again.

I have absolutely no reason to believe NSAC would concede Floyd's request. After all of the scrutiny they have had their way, Goodman being fired for even mentioning things off the record, and not a damn thing has changed with them or their protocols.

As far as outsourcing goes, what do you mean outsourcing? What are they outsourcing? Fighters are still subjected to post fight tests by the NSAC since they are the ones sanctioning the bouts, it's not like because the USADA is involved, the NSAC gets the boot.

Team Pac were just trying to make things as difficult as possible. Floyd is a dick too but Pac is also a dickhead negotiator

:patsch You have no reason to believe this at all. As I stated, there's TOO much money at stake, as well as public scrutiny about fighter safety, for the NSAC to say no. You're pretty mucvh in denial and being stubborn about this. The NSAC gain nothing by refusing such a test if asked. In fact, it hurts them MUCH worse.

When I say outsourcing, I am referring to the commission using another agency for their test. Not hard to decipher.

You say team pac is trying to make things difficult, yet it was FLOYD who brought it up, and then who changed his mind on the purse once testing was accepted.

Why would the commission need to outsource anything? Their testing against USADA are world's different.

They NSAC still have to do their tests. It's being sanctioned in the state of Nevada. Just because USADA comes in doesn't mean they don't do the post-fight urine samples administered by the Vegas commission. That makes no sense as USADA is random and NSAC is on a schedule
