    Why not?

Anything that can help regress or slow down the affects of brain damage or cognitive, neurological and psychological impairment is a good thing.

More money should be invested in projects like this. Athletes are a solid foundation to build research upon and findings can then be extrapolated to the wider civilian community.

I'm all for it and the wider public, especially sports fans, should throw the full weight of their support behind such endeavors.

    Good article :thumbsup

Isn't seeing a chiropractor to reverse brain damage like going to a shrink to rehab a torn acl?

I think its more than a chiropractor. The central nervous system and neurological pahthways can be manipulated to do many things.

Do you believe conciousness is seperate from the brain or part of the brain ?

    I'm 50:50 on this.

I believe a person can be AWARE of their existence even if the brain is wholly destroyed (ie brain damage, bullet wound etc)

However outside out that; a completely destroyed brain would result in death and absolutely no conscience. Once you die, I believe your soul leaves your body immediately and tangible conciousness no longer exists.

Superb question though; really made me think

    :thumbsup

How can massaging bones repair damage to your brain? I'd like to see the scientific papers reporting these results.

I think this is the placebo effect. Jones has negative feelings about the end of his career, he's afraid of brain damage, and he might have brain damage.

These "procedures" are helping Jones think positively, which can be a powerful thing.
