Roy Jones Jr seriously thought about fighting Lewis in 2003. Could he have done it?

Jones definetly could have fought him...
But Lewis would have hurt Roy bad.
(Nothing to do w/Skill level or anything like that...)

No he never seriously thought about fighting a legitimate HW like Lewis, thats baloney and you know it.

There's a good reason Roy fought the featherfisted octopus Ruiz and not a heavyweight puncher in any shape or form. He'd have gotten laid out for the world to see.

Americans were ecstatic after Jones beat Ruiz. Other observers just saw the win for what it was. Jones outboxed one of the worst HW belt holders of all times in a terribly dull fight.

Anyone with a brain picked Lewis to decapitate Jones in a HW matchup.

Don't you think some of the credit they gave to Jones are bias beacuse he is American and Lennos is brittish.

I mean if Lewis fought today he would have been the most exciting thing since Tyson and he was head-and-shoulders above everyone else.

When the dust setteld there where only one Lennox lewis.

Also at everyone who thinks 'Roy wouldn't have done it, he was too smart, he knew his capabilities'

Dude, he's STILL GETTING KNOCKED THE **** OUT TO THIS DAY.

Roy was not smart, he was moronic, of course he would have fought Lewis if the price was right and the stars aligned, he thought he was superman.

Roy didn't even have the heart take the strap from Bryd, that would have set him up for a potential 50 plus million dollar fight with LL with all 3 straps to go along with the pot, that should tell people everything they need to know about Roy
