Here his last fight in february 2017 against Bobby Gunn. Both guys are veterans and Roy won it by TKO. You can really see that Roy still enjoys boxing, he just does what he wants in the ring. Just don't put him against the young lions anymore or he gets KO'ed again.

If he limits his opposition to C+ and below, 40yrs old minimum I'm okay with him keepin' on.

Roy has to retire. He doesn't want to get knocked out again. He has been knocked out too many times.

James Toney recently called out Roy for a rematch , Steve Collins also wants Roy after he wipes out Benn, interesting times ahead in the veteran category !

all these fights in his 40s have really been exhibitions. When someone decent really pushes him, he gets ktfo.

THere is no sense in watching roy now he hasnt the speed. Its just posing at best.

I would like to see Roy fight Ward, Kovalev, or Stevenson. Maybe Anthony Joshua as well.

For what it's worth... He looked alright against the limited and inactive Gunn, gave Gunn a punchers chance going into that one - but RJJ still had too much for the BKB/clubfighter.

Collins and Benn might actually beat Toney despite being out of the ring for 20 or so years, and Toney competing far above their favored weights for much of that time. Toney is just..... So shot. I mean, he lost to Gavern in a 3 rounder 4 years ago and has only fallen off more since. The stoppage against Shepherd was highly suspect, and I'm calling fix. How bizarre would it be for them(Benn especially) to come out of retirement and BEAT Toney 20+ years after their never-made fights at MW were actually relevant?

Maybe there should be a Veteran belt? I know the gplf and Tennis tour has a separate tour for 55(?)+. 55 might be a bit to high for boxing, but 40?

A veterans belt sounds like a good idea! BUUUTTTTTT.......... it wont happen due to health reasons. Elderly people shouldnt be boxing.

I want to see Wlad vs Toney for the over-40, senior division heavyweight title.

It's going to happen regardless of the repercussions.. I'd be completely for a "masters" division/s and titles for older fighters, Holmes talked about this in the 90s. Better that these guys face one another than be fed as fodder to the new blood. Belfort is pushing for this to happen in the UFC right now...

Exactly, a Tooney Jones fight is probably much less dangerous than Lebdevev Jones. And I don't think a veteran class would make boxing any more dangerous for the 40+ fighters that already fight.

The only obvious downside is that we would see even more belts in boxing...
