Just got back from seeing Roy at Newcastle and got to say he is a natural at these talk-in's. He made loads of jokes and had great banter throughout. Said he once rang Nigel Benn to arrange a fight between them and Benn said i can't fight you because im going through a divorce and roy replied "well thats a harder fight than you would have got from me" lol. Said his most gruelling fight was Tarver 1 and that he wanted to quit after 8 rounds because he was so drained. Someone asked him how he would beat floyd mayweather and he replied "i would call manny pacquiao".

Yeah he took loads of questions, a few idiots just kept asking questions about pacquiao, "do you think he's on drugs" etc. In the end Steve holdsworth (from eurosport) who was the host had to say "no more questions about pacquiao please". Roy said he wished he rushed Calzaghe after dropping him in the 1st round, Said Ali was his idol, if he could fight anyone from any era it would be Sugar ray robinson. A woman asked him a question about female boxing and roy responded by saying "WHO THE HELL GAVE THE MICROPHONE TO A WOMAN" lol, he was just joking with her though.

I went to a Tyson one few months back and got talking to a friend of a friend of the promoter and if he had the figures right its not a bad nights work if you can get it.
