Hopkins-Calzaghe is the fight that should happen now, I think Hopkins is a much bigger threat to Calzaghe than RJJ. Hopkins-Clazaghe is a pick'em fight, Hopkins has a good chance of winning, Calzaghe is great but Hopkins has the tools to ruin everyone's style. Let's see how RJJ looks against Tito, if he wins and looks good doing it maybe a fight against the winner of Calzaghe-Hopkins would be an option later in 2008... it would be a big money fight for sure, but I still think RJJ can't turn back time enough to beat either one. I think RJJ should first rematch Glen Johnson after the Tito fight, win or lose, that would be the best for his tarnished reputation.
http://www.youreableshop.co.uk/modules/shop/images/FE3110.jpg ......rjj is done. calzaghe would beat him, brutally.
****ing hell. whilst we're at it why don't we get benn and eubank out of retirement and make a fortune in the UK.
This post is infested with bull**** :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Error #1 - RJJ is a "big" threat to Calzaghe Error #2 - RJJ is going to destroy Tito Error #3 - RJJ is a bigger threat than Hopkins Look, I rank RJJ as one of THE BEST H2H fighters to ever live. I don't think anyone could've beaten a prime RJJ at middleweight actually. But he is done. Tito is going to knock him out and end this finally. If, by chance, he gets passed Tito....he better not fight Calzaghe. Jones is way too lethargic now, doesn't fight a full fight and Calzaghe will badly expose this. Sorry, but I don't see RJJ as a threat to Calzaghe at all now...but I've been wrong before, actually I'm usually wrong lately atsch
By the same logic because Joe hurt kessler he would hurt roy so that isnt a valid point. Plus roy is completely flat footed these days, JC is not. Roy is a shell of the fighter he was. JC is only marginally faded.
roy is not the fighter he used to be for sure can see your point but i do not agree with imo and thats all it is rjj hits a lot harder than jc or kessler and between jc and kessler Imo kessler looked like he hit a lot harder than jc. I am also thinking this fight takes place at light heavy were rjj is used to being and jc is not.I also agree rjj is a lot more flat footed than he used to be but i still think rjj is better on his feet than jc Im not taking any thing away from jc he is real good but i think rjj would really get up for this fight.
