Yes he is. His accomplishments for his size are amazing. He is in my mind one of the greatest fighters the game has ever seen. There hasnt been a faster fighter ever. I dont know who he avoided. Most of the boys over in Europe lost to the guys he easily beat. Wins over Hopkins, Mcallum, Toney, Griffen, Hill, Telesco, DelValle, Harding, were impressive and showed how well he could fight at a pretty diverse group of fighting styles.

 

1. Yes he fought him, and got the same result that Jones would have got.

2. The WBO doesn't count? So you'll agree with me that WALDO isn't a unified champ then, and VITLAY has only ever won 4 fights for a version of the title?

 

I wouldn't say he's top 10 but he's not far off it and I agree with everything you say otherwise. I've certainly never seen a better fighter in my lifetime.

That is just bollocks, Haye was the WBO Champ at Cruiser only after he beat Maccarinelli, and he hardly sat on the belt seeing as he moved straight up to HW immediately after. I assume from your vitriol about Jones you also consider the WBA to be meaningless as you called it a paper belt? No-one can deny he hand-picked Ruiz but to people that actually appreciate the sport the mere fact that a natural 160-168lb fighter had the guts to move up and do that and win was actually something of note. If RJJ had retired after Ruiz he would have gone down as a top 5 P4P all time, Wins over Hopkins, Toney, Tarver, Griffen, Hill, McCallum, and Ruiz at HW should be respected.

 

Other than DM Roy fought every one, I don't get this BS about his resume not being good, and Unlike the Golden Turd he actaully won his big fights.
