Two clear trains if thought here regarding Moore. 1) he has mixed results against his best opponents, when his quality dipped his consistency improved. 2) the MW version of Moore wasn't him at his best, but at LHW he was a force to be reckoned with. I personally think he was an excellent MW but a great LHW. I don't think there's anyone who beat him as a MW, that would have beaten him as a LHW, apart from Eddie Booker. His pressure style relied on cutting the ring off and anticipating what his opponent was going to do. Clearly, imo, they're too strengths that get stronger with experience. When he was younger he would brawl and get dropped due to his shaky chin, or protect the chin and lose a passive decision. His methodical trap setting pressure style didn't get going in his MW career, that much is clear to me. I think if Jones doesn't knock Moore out, he gets knocked out himself. My pick is Moore by ko.
