    Lance DID fail a test. He was given retroactive therapeutic use exemption, TUE, and the story was made to go away.
    It’s amazing that the propaganda machine still has this sway over people.

    No he didn't and no he wouldn't of if he ever fought Beterbiev which of course he never would in a million years. Like I said, there's a serious death of savage punchers and legit bangers on the supposed 'prime' Roy's CV which of course is, duh, obviously the reason why his shameful lack of punch resistance and that repulsive frail old lady glass jaw of his wasn't exposed far sooner than it was but trying to get any of his deeply delusional obsessed cultists to see reason is like trying draw blood from a stone. The day Roy posted those nude selfie pics of himself in the bathroom was literally the greatest day of their lives.

    They actually genuinely believe Roy was unbeatable and that he was shot at 35 y/o despite the fact he was never in any wars, avoided savage punchers like they had leprosy, and according to them never got hit, other than the times he was dropped heavily by Light Hitting Lou and knocked out in three rounds in the amateurs by John Reid with pillows and head gear on that is

    Plodder Grandpa Glenn Johnson literally sparked him out cold immediately upon impact with a solitary right hand which didn't contain 50% of the power of a Beterbiev jab and Tarver dropped him like he shot him in the face at point blank range. There's not a goddamn alternate reality or dimension where Roy would even fight a prime Beterbiev, let alone beat him and if there is one where Roy could be dragged kicking and screaming into a ring with him there sure as well isn't one where he doesn't get brutally sparked out cold by him in X-rated fashion.

    There you have it. Great find. I've long suspected that Roy has been brutally sparked out cold in the gym numerous times and now it's been confirmed. Snoring :lol:

    I suppose we should actually give him and his matchmakers credit for being able to skillfully navigate their way through the terrain to keep that glass hidden and the facade going for as long as they did.

    I think Beterbiev's jab would be the equalizer in this fight. Jones wasn't impossible to time down, just look at the first Montell Griffin fight. He also had a tendency of retreating to the ropes and covering up. That might work against the mailmen, substitute teachers and off-duty cops that he fought but it would be suicide vs Beterbiev.

    Serge this is dishonest. It would be incredibly easy to flip the script on Artur. After this rant, you should hope Beterbiev beats Bivol in dominant fashion, because if he loses

    huh? How do you think Beterbiev ever gets to him and deals with the speed and movement? This is a hilarious case of recency bias, or you are thinking about the shot version of Jones. Prime Roy pieces up Beterbiev all night.

    So because Beterbiev was able to beat up a C level british fighter it means he could do the same to a prime Roy Jones? Really?:applaudit:

    How about Smith not even being in same universe as Roy on any level, so using him as any kind of reference is ridiculous?

    Artur is a volume puncher who breaks down his opponents, you are acting like he hits like Tyson. He needs to land many shots to hurt opponents, he just chases Roy all night and gets pot shotted and maybe stopped.

    He was behind on the score cards vs Gvozdyk at the time of the stoppage.

    Glenn Johnson? Ok I see the problem, you are comparing the totally shot version of Jones to Beterbiev. You should be talking about the prime version.

    Gifts aren't just physical ya'know. If athleticism was all that was needed to be good at boxing, the entire landscape would be different. His mental fortitude, coordination and sense of distance are all part of his talent set. If not we'd have 10 Bivols from Russia at any given time. Bivol isn't an athletic freak like Roy but he has other talents that makes him formidable. That isn't to say he isn't athletic though. He still has fast hands and feet even if they don't go at Roy speeds.

    You are arguing semantics anyway. Not being quite as gifted is a reasonable suggestion. We don't have to be polemic about everything that the greats did in the past.
