In honor of Foster being on FNFs tonight.

This would be a hell of a matchup. Foster had height, a great jab and a punch behind it.

I will take Foster SD in a close fight.

    I agree...

But then here comes all the "Roy doesn't belong with Foster, Charles and Moore" at light-heavy crew...

Maybe, maybe not. But damn there hell of a couple of fights.

Roy could hang with anyone. I just think that stylistically this is a bad matchup for him.

Come on dammit, lets talk this fight up. Would be one of the great fights at this weight class in history.

Nope Foster hits to ****ing hard for Rjj to stand and take any shots from him.. The real fight would have been Foster Vs Michael Moore two 175 pound monsterus wrecking balls.

I think the better match up for Rjj would be Michael Spinks .

Bob Foster by KO. As the OP wrote, Foster's jab and reach would make it a long night for Jones. And anyone who watches Foster's fights knows how good of a counterpuncher he was. I see Foster winning virtually every round and stopping him in 7 :bbb

People here under-estimate the deciding factor in this fight.

Roys lighting quick speed and his lighting quick reflexes to avoid the punches.

    Roy by decision.

I would have to favor Foster but who knows. Both were great. Still my pick is Foster.

Thanks friend. What a great club, great tradition and great fans.:good

I maintain I would take Roy in this via decision. Time will be kind to Roy.:good

in 20 years time most people will go for Roy in this ATG match up.
He is still fighting and that makes people bias against him.

Good call!! That would be worth a ppv. Foster was a total badass, although Moorer is one of the strongest lt. heavies ever. I'd have to take Foster by a nod.

Moore was the 175 pounder fighter that you would hate to see looking at your from across the Ring , the thing how you would deal with his pounding Jab and even heaver cross..IMO Moore was the TRUE Liner Champ at Lt heavy by default ..based on the fact Virgil hill refuse to fight him.
