Roy Jones Jr. vs. Chad Dawson-Who would win?

    I think that RJJ could become light heavyweight champion again. In seeing his last couple of fights, its obvious that while he is not the same as he was in his prime he still has lightning quick hands and his skills are still pretty good. In the Calzaghe fight, for the first couple or rounds, his hand speed advantage over Calzaghe showed, however, as the fight went on, Calzaghe's akward style and in and out movement combined with his high punch output kept jones covering up and on the defensive and he was able to pull away. Chad Dawson is not this type of fighter. He fights in spurts. he wouldn't put nearly as much pressure on Roy as Clazaghe allowing Roy time to pick his spots, and let his hands go. Im not saying that its automatic, but I think its very realistic. Its a much more credible fight then his fight with Lacy anyway.

    Like the Sopranos man, It's OVAH!!! Find a new show.

    Roy is done as a serious contender, we all know this because that is why Joe Calzaghe fought him finally.

    Roy is finished as a top fighter he can still beat guys like Sheika and Lacy but the top guys would beat him handly.

    i like to dream too, but it's over for Roy...give it up.

    during his prime, Roy KILLS Dawson easy, but right now, he can't beat anyone of legitimate standing. I really wish he would just retire and not taint his legacy any further.

    Roy is my all time fav fighter along with Hearns but I gotta keep it real. If he fights Chad right now he loses. Would he land some big shots and do crazy moves and make the crowd go "ooh"? Hell yeah but that wouldn't be enough Chad would outwork him at this point.

    There is no other outcome to this fight than Dawson by KO. Roy would not be able to go the distance. He would get that fragile Glass Jaw shattered.

    Dawson by UD or even KO. Jones is beyond shot and I hope this fight isn't even considered.

    Honestly, this **** needs to stop. The man is a ****ing shambling corpse. 6 years ago, Jones embarrasses him. Now, Dawson would splatter him all over the ring.

    Dawson by brutal, vicious KO

    They should make this fight, cuzz after fighting Dawson I can gaurentee Roy will never wanna fight again

    In fact they should do this with all the old guys that don't know when it's time to retire

    If you think Chad would win, fine but everybody talking trash can suck my dick. Styles make fights, and Calzaghe had a perfect style for this version of Roy becasue of his workrate. Chad Dawson Roy's handspeed is still there. He just doens't have the same reflexes as he used to.
