Roy Jones JR vs Danny "The Machine" Green. Who wins and Why?

Danny has a punchers chance but Roy's still got enough to outbox him even at 39yrs.

 

i picked jones just on what he can do...whether he can do it @ 39 against greenie i dont know cause i am a green fan and would like 2 think he could pull it off...

 

really did any of you guys watch the fight? Sure Roy would prob still win but just to remind those who might have forgotton this Roy Jones was fighting TRINIDAD! A man who's weight is Super Welter (anymore and he is not good) And has been retired for the best of 2 years.

Now as i said Roy prob would whop Green but what has Roy proved in the past 3 fights he has had? Tito was the only fight he has looked any good in and that was against a man who NEVER should have been fighting there.

Once Roy fights a true champ at Light Heavyweight again I say HE AINT BACK least not yet.

I picked Green, partly going with my heart, part going with my head.

I agree with Marcus' post above - I think Green is too live an opponent for RJJ now.

I think anyone with a bit of power and a legit LHW will trouble RJJ, and possibly KO him.

He fights gunshy now, and is past his best, and Green can bang. I think Green can do what Tarver and Johnson did in landing KO blows on RJJ.

I didn't see the Tito fight, but in the weigh in pics RJJ looked old...wasted away and old. His body just looks older than it should, and I think it's taking it's toll on his health and stamina.

 

Roy has been shot for 5 years. Green easy decision or KO if Jones doesn't run.

 

The only thing Mundine would plant on the chin of Roy is either a kiss or his balls

 

Yes i do wank on the odd occassion.(Step it up abit when my missus has her rags) but you are just going to have to swallow the fact that i have boxed before and im not just a total keyboard warrior.

Unfortunetly there have been more oppurtunities for me to make cash and see alittle of the world through playing Rugby League as i loved the whole training and feeling of a win that boxing provides.
