Seriously Roy hasn't won a meaningful fight since 03'. He got knocked out twice and ran like a girl in his 3 losses. Now all of a sudden he is back after decisioning 2 bums and a Hall of Fame welterweight? Give me a break Tito wouldn't last 5 rounds with Danny Green, this was a showcase fight to fool naive fans into thinking he's still a top fighter as they did with Holyfield.

Danny Green has problems letting his hands go at times. And he is very susceptible to being out boxed. Roy has performed well against Prince abanbaba *spelling) (genuine Light heavy fighter), Anthony Hanshaw (Genuine top 10 at SMW) and Tito beating them all convincingly. He still very much has the hand speed and the technical ability to trouble the robotic Green. If Danny really was prepared to get hit I could see him winning, provided he let his hands go. But Roy still has good power, and I have my doubts as to whether he could do this. I think Roy even in this depleted state would be to much for Danny, although it would be a close fight. Whoever got the win would need a very solid performance. I would genuinely be very interested to see this fight take place.

Yes HE WAS. Before the Jones fight he was a respected and undefeated prospect who was a genuine top ten contender in the SMW division.

His highest ranking is 15 by the IBF and he hasn't had a win against anyone of note. He's a B level fighter.

If Danny could land something on roy early and make him feel his power he could definatly beat Roy.
Theres no doubt he's afraid to get hit and Danny will put the fear of god into him when he gets a taste.
RJJ also seams to have lost a bit of handspeed as well as his foot work i mean his legs looked like they were in concreate and he no longer throws combos:-(
I dont think he'd have the stamina to stick and jab Danny all night he'll eventuly have to stand and fight and that's when he'll get hurt big time:hey

I thought that we could only vote once in this pole but I can only conclude that this is not the case as Danny Green has 12 votes so someone has voted 12 times I hope. Danny Green would get killed in a fight with Roy Jones Jnr

Prime Roy Jones no ****ing question, but Roy Jones is a shell of what he once was, i don't think a fighter has ever fallen off as badly as Jones jr, it looks like he has severe arthritis in his legs. I think his legs really aged after the Tarver KO, because he is so scared of getting knocked out he stiffens and plants his legs all the time causing his legs to fatigue very easily, he doesn't bounce and glide anymore because he has no confidence in himself to take a punch.

I see a lot of people are still overrating Danny the Green boy machine. Even this version of Jones would whip Greeny.

Have to give Danny a chance with his power and strength against Roys' soft chin. But he's so damn mechanical, Roy would just box his ears off.

No way this faded Roy Jones KO's Green. he's likely to be spending most of the fight on the retreat. He'd win via UD though.

roy looked good again well for wat we have seen of him in his latest outings but i think green is too smart to fight the same way against a back foot fighter after wat mundine did to him i think green would bring rjj on in the early rounds and finish it the later rounds would be great for aussie boxing if it happened
