Roy would make Tua look silly.. Until Tua finally gets a good shot in!
No way is this fight going past 5, for me.

And when Tua Man does get that shot in, which won’t take too long at all….it will be a very scary knock out.

If this was around the time Jones fought Ruiz it could end up bad. I'm sure that wouldn't be the public's perception of it at the time and many would be claiming an easy W for Roy, but Ruiz actually hurt Jones early in their fight.. I think it was the first round but I could be wrong. I think a more aggressive heavy like Tua would have seriously hurt Roy at this point and made Roy look vulnerable long before Tarver in their second fight.

As @Fergy said Jones would make Tua look silly for first few rounds with his speed. Remember Tua did have a bad habit at times, of walking around following his opponent allowing his opponent to outbox him.

But sooner or later Jones will get hit and it will be curtains, Byrd outboxed Tua but he still had to take punches, and Byrd is a better defensive fighter than Jones at Heavyweight with a much better chin.

So i think Jones gets stopped within 8 rounds after being ahead on points.

I'd take Roy to beat Tua in ping pong 7 days a week, unless Tua gets annoyed and kills Roy on Wednesday.

Let's see. It took Tua 19 seconds to beat John Ruiz and 30 seconds to beat Michael Moorer.

Roy would last between 19 and 30 seconds.

I met Roy Jones in person once. His head was about the size of your fist. Tua might break his neck.

    Tua.
Roy was incredibly fast and skilled, but he ain't hitting hard enough to earn Tua's respect. Roy would probably make Tua look silly at times, but as soon as Tua lands a proper one, it's all over, Tua could hit like a truck.

The Jones and Tua who both fought Ruiz? Not even a question.

But I do honestly think that in 2003 when Jones fought Ruiz and Tua was 245 pounds and drawing with/ getting dropped (after the bell) by Rahman I give Jones 80/20 chance of a UD

I doubt Roy can avoid Tua’s power, nor avoid it for a full 12 rounds.

I’ll give it a couple rounds.

Way too dangerous of a fight for Jones
