now that you put this topic up on reflex it is hard to say but when roy was competing at the 154 pound weight, roy would have been to much for floyd

    WTF?

Pimp, seriously consider taking a break from ESB for awhile. You've been arguing with '*******s' and Floyd haters so long that you're now starting to see 'lack of credit' where it clearly does not exist.

Secondly, block some time off and go get some complete Roy Jones fights to watch. The fact that you are claiming to not be impressed by 'clips' of RJJ only confirms the impression that you haven't really seen him in action beyond that.

If you're a boxing fan, you owe it to yourself.

    Adieu.

Nope nope nope little buddy....Dont try to act like ur getting what I say misconstrued....well maybe I should re-word it better...its not about people not wanting to give Floyd this type of credit...Its just that Roy is more of a legend, so people want to give him MORE credit than he deserved...anytime u compare a fighter of this era, to an older fighter who may have a better or bigger legacy, people will always give it to the legend...U dont have to be a Floyd hater to say that Roy had better reflexes when u know its not true....all boxing fans are like this and it proves itself when most of the people commenting are mayweather fans fat...people have sat here and watced Roy showing his shaprest reflexes, then moments later watching clips of Floyd showing his greatest reflexes, then lie and act like its even comparable....Floyd's reflexes dogWALK Roy's reflexes, and Floyd's reflexes are better than his than I thought prior...not even close....not even a competition..anyone that watched these Roy clips, then seconds later watched Floyd clips, and STILL said Roy, is a downright Gotdayumn lie....and like I said before...no one's hating on Floyd...there just subCOINCIOUSLY being a little over generous with Roy...and this is how boxing fans minds work...Roy's a GREAT great fighter....but He has the reflexes of any other fast elite fighter:)

man, i can't see how this is even a debate...floyd is by a good margin is the more complete fighter...but as far as physical attributes, NO ONE beats roy IMO.

Roy's opponent telegraphed that final punch and Roy knew it. Amazing reflexes because we can see what Roy saw in slow motion but couldn't see it in the fight.

When Floyd fights at regular speed we can see what goes on without having to slow it down. That's the difference.

tough call but Floyd doing it later in his career as he slows down is very impressive and says alot about his reflexes and timing as he physically declines

plus at 147 and down floyd was probably doing it vs faster lighter fighters

roy has greater reflexes but floyd has greater anticipation and instincts, which translate to his reflexes.

roy moved out of range and slipped punches as he saw them coming, amazing quicksilver speed. floyd however sees the punches before they come, and dosent need to move as much- he s more economical in his style and reflexes, tilting slightly or rolling as much as he needs to. both incredible- but in terms of the question- roy- he was a physical marvel. but floyds reflexes may will last longer as they arent based on amazing fast twitch alone-but on well schooled anticipation and a conservative approach.
