Who you do you got in the three fights, suppermiddleweight, light-heavy and cruiser?

Patterson was a middleweight in the olympics but I think Jones beats him at SMW by UD. Maybe a late stoppage if he can apply the pressure.

Floyd wins at LH and CW, close UD.

Patterson was a great fighter but his punch resistance was abysmal. He'd get caught at one point or another with a counter hook/uppercut/combination. RJJ TKO all day everyday.

Roy was a great fighter but his punch resistance was abysmal. Patterson would catch him at one point or another and blast him out. He's certainly quick and skilled enough to land with some kind of frequency and powerful enough to put Roy to sleep at any given instance. Liston, Ali, and Johannson were the only guys to stop Patterson, and Roy didn't hit as hard as any of them.

Jones beats him at all of the weights.

Nothing Patterson does is better than Jones.

Patterson even through his prime was down over 10 times.

    Jones wins by ko.

Patterson. Nearly as fast, punches harder and was only knocked out by two Top100 of all time punchers and stopped on his feet by Ali. Compared to Jones who was stopped by average punching LHWs. Patterson is also technical superior. Jones may score a flash knockdown early but that´s it. Floyd is bigger, technical better, nearly as fast, punches harder and has a better chin.

I think Patterson has the speed to find Roy's chin early and knock him out. Those low hands and all that leaning back gets him hit with a big left hook.

Patterson KO4. If he gets dropped, he gets up. If Roy gets dropped, he stays down.

Bad matchup for Roy, who is, on the whole, the more formidable fighter.

Early KO's for Patterson at the higher weights, Jones wins of some description down at MW and SMW.

'of some description'? I don't understand what you mean mate.

I have Patterson. The lower the weight, the better for Roy, but I don't see him avoiding the KO at all at LHW or CW. I'll give him the nod at MW and say he can stay away from the bombs that Patterson is offering to demolish his existence with, but even that's reluctantly.

He could KO him or he could out-point him, one or the other, I just don't know enough about Patterson's punch resistance to a hard punching MW to say.

Patterson was too green and not yet peaked LHW and down, he left that weight at the age of 20, although perhaps the 185lb Patterson could drain to 175 anyway

At Cruser both would be a similar size and both peaked, Jones would be a solid 180-185 as he was for his LHW fights in the ring, Patterson 180-190. Height and reach are pretty even, both are lightening quick, Jones the quicker, both very powerful, both a little fragile. Either could knock the other out. Jones has the better defensive reactions and counter punching, Patterson more power, more aggressive but made more mistakes and was easier to hit.

I wouldn't put money on the cruser/HW fight, it's an even money fight

Honestly, I think Jones obliterates him.

Yeah, Jones is superman. He´d beat Ali too and would blow out Tyson early.
