my brother thinks g man would have caught up with roy and tested his chin. i feel jones never had a problem with his chin or he would have been knocked out in his prime.

he was hit flush agaisnt john ruiz.

montell griffin first fight jones was hit through out with big shots.

When feather fisted Glen Johnson starches you for almost 6 minutes your chin is garbage. Poor Roy is afraid to get hit now also.

Yeah, RJJ has a glass jaw now but that wasn't always the case. Tarver and Johnson clearly weakened it considerably. But the guy was pretty much undefeated until his loss to Tarver and you don't win 50+ fights without taking some hard, flush shots. RJJ was never hurt (that i can recall) in any fight before Ruiz. Ruiz tagged him with a flush right and RJJ was dazed for a split second but recovered. A glass jaw can't take a flush shot from a HW and recover like that.

OK here it goes. He was knocked down by Lou De Valle and that shot Ruiz hit him with was on his upper chest. How many KO's did Ruiz have coming into the Jones fight since 1998? The answer? 0. No KO's in 5 years coming into that fight.

    Give me G-Man by K.O.
Roy always had a respect for Gerald's Punching & Boxing ability. (Still does)
Prob one of the reason's this fight never happened. (Besides the obvious)

De Valle was the utlimate flash KD. Nothing more, nothing less. He was never hurt and he just popped back up. Please, try better.

I created a simular thread like this awhile ago. I like Jones by UD. The G-Man would have been his toughest opponent in his prime, IMO
