Nice sustained body punching, though - and he cut and hurt Kvaratskhelia in the 1st.

 

Kvaratskhelia getting whipped after two. He looks a bit hesitant to answer the bell, lingering on his stool a moment and taking a deep breath.

 

Tedeev has a quick and really vicious chopping right that comes in behind the jab, using it to great effect to bypass Kvaratskhelia's guard and bust up his nose. Uppercuts inside as they lean together, over 90 seconds left, we are probably en route to a KO3...

 

Or he is just nineteen. :yep

 

Yep. With almost half a minute left.

Tedeev got tired at one point and seemed to have punched himself out, draped atop Kvaratskhelia and flailing weakly at his back with both gloves, but as soon as they separated Tedeev found a couple of stiff connects and just hacked Kvaratskhelia to his knees. Ref opted not to count.

 

Aw, that's cute. They obviously don't give out belts in 6-rounders, but Tedeev earned himself a ...weird little claw shaped crystal - trophy?

That is the longest Tedeev has been stretched thus far.

His previous kayos were in the 1st or 2nd.

Raw kid (only debuted this past May!) but he is a strong little buckaroo for 135lbs and will probably outgrow the division. He looks to have real punishing mitts and decent offensive fundamentals already, especially on the inside. Keep an eye.

 

I would imagine so; they probably aren't going to launch from a six-round card opener into the main event.
