    Jones W12 Rahman.

Roy's speed should carry the day.

Rahman by decision. Im a big rjj fan but rahman would be really bad for him. Really strong, decetive reach and serious power.

Roy is a pretty smart guy he would definitely not engage rahman as much as he did ruiz(he traded with him at some points and took some good shots from ruiz early).
I think roy would try to walk a tightrope by sticking and moving but he wouldnt throw enough punches and take enough risks to win rounds.
I see it going like the rubber match with tarver. Roy would show too much respect and although he would make rahman look akward and slow at times, he would be too careful and lose a decision.

Rahman also would have a mental edge, he was the kind of guy who would just keep working even if he got tagged and countered(as seen in the ton3y fight), unlike ruiz who started waiting on roy and started getting cautious after roy stung him.
You cant try to outhink roy. He is too smart and quick.

Roy Jones had his chances to fight Corrie Sanders, and Lennox Lewis. He knew his limitations, and picked the prefect guy ( Ruiz ) to fight at heavyweight with a referee that worked to his advantage by limiting Ruiz foul like antics.

Rhaman ( in shape ) would win here. He's too big and strong. Rhaman's reach advantage alone would have Roy scared to engage.

true Mendi about middleweight roy jones.

Exactly the same limitations that the superheavyweight Klitshcko brothers proved they had too, sanders and lewis wiped them out too.

    great post Mendi

I really like the Rahman jab to control the fight. Roy certainly isn't walking through it to land his own punches & he was never a risk taker anyway. But that was a nice stiff jab Hasim threw and I just don't see Jones dealing with a good heavyweight jabber.

Hardly an exciting bout to watch and we would be fortunate to see these two exchange at the same time about a half dozen times the whole bout. It'd be one guy does something while the other plays defense. And they'd just take turns in a dreary affair.

The James Toney who had a gut at 217 carried the weight better than Jones ripped to shreds at 193? Now I've heard everything.

Think Rahman would eventually catch him and stop him can't see Roy handling that power.
