Douglas shatters Jones putrid Glass Jaw. There is a reason Jones didn’t take that fight just like he didn’t take a lot of other fights. He knew he had no Chin and wasn’t going to risk it. Hence how he got the nickname Reluctant Roy.

You still think this or has 5 years been enough to change your mind?

Absolutely. The gap in skill is too much. I don't see Douglas winning on a jab or a counterpunch.

I think Douglas would have to be seriously declined to lose to Jones.
In the steroid thread I keep writing about how it is wrong, in both senses, to assume everyone uses-& not examine evidence.

But given both the one positive test, & the natural bone structure of Jones, I do not believe he could have gotten to standard modern HW size naturally.
Even having done whatever he did, he was good enough to be a decent lower level contender, but not take punches from or beat the top guys.

In 1998 Jones by decision. Douglas really showed up great on Feb, 10, 1990 or whatever date it was. That is the day he fought great but Jones was more consistent. If you put Larry Holmes mind in a Buster Douglas body? He would have been a legend.
