Not so sure about stamina, I've never seen Jones look tired after 12 rounds, Jones has suffered with either loss of confidence or is totally shot depending on who you listen to, not sure his stamina will let him down. As for the way Calzaghe kept a 43 year old Hopkins on the move....sorry but that's meaningless, and he almost lost that fight. Jones owned a far better version of Hopkins than Calzaghe fought.

This one might be interesting, I'm not betting on it but I'm not expecting it to be as one sided as the Calslappy fans think it's going to be. They also thought Hopkins would get hammered and after the first 5 rounds were all shitting their pants :yep

How many punches did Jones throw against blown up Tito. He looked like a lazy 43 yr old Hopkins.:yikes

what a joke! it will also be another b-hop/calzaghe type fight. i got calzaghe by wide UD or even late stoppage. jones jr just fought a bummed out tito who cant make weight at 160 amynore and still couldn't finish him off even though i think he could have. better is calzaghe/pavlik

Have you got proof of this? I've seen Jones interviews from back in the mid-90's where I couldn't understand a word he was saying, but maybe that's just because I'm English, he's always spoken with a kind of drawl to me....

I think that Jones does hold back a bit, he's always said he doens't enjoy hurting his opponents and I beleive him. Check the Brandan fight. But he'll need to bring it all for this one.

He can still punch, but peak Jones is one of the greatest composite punchers of all time in my view, top 20, ever...this guy, not so much.

Really I never knew Jones fought like Hopkins with the Punching and grabbing ?

And you do know that Jones was injured in the Tito fight but your right it will be another calzaghe Hopkins fight :rofl

Jones was not 39 when he owned Hopkins and you really can't factor that in unless this was a Prime for Prime matchup. I agree with the stamina part though, he just does enough to win while toying with his opposition as of late.

Roy Jones sadly is now sounding punch drunk. Watch recent interviews. He should be out the game; hes 40 yrs old.

It just says what most educated fans already know - that he's an over-rated bum who's fed off old men and scrubs his whole career.
